Our founder, Late Mr. K. Somasundharam, started the business in the name of SS Jewel Makers in the year 1940 and thrived until 1984. Mr. S. Sathaiyan, son of Mr. K. Somasundharam, carried on this business from the year 1984 to 2004. Mr. S. Vijayakumar, grandson of Late Mr. K. Somasundharm, has taken over the next hierarchy in his family to look after SS Jewel Makers since 2004. As a part of expanding the business to the international market, he started Ajoras Exporrts Pvt Ltd in 2016 to serve the market in the Middle East, Hong Kong, and the United States.
